The Muscle Cars Of WWE Wrestling Stars
By David Ashton
Muscle cars and WWE wrestling superstars seem to go hand in hand. It can be a number of factors from the muscle car moniker, being fast and loud and/or a total appreciation for the breed and what they represent.
Here we have a rundown of some of the more well-known faces from wrestling and some of their standout vehicles.
Hulk Hogan’s 1994 Dodge Viper
Arguably one of the most famous faces in wrestling, Mr. Hogan has a custom painted 1994 Dodge Viper in his renowned red and yellow colors.
The car has a Hulk mania logo and custom graphics.
Bill Goldberg’s 1970 Ford Mustang
Former WCW champion Bill Goldberg has obviously invested some of his earnings from the late 90s and early 2000 into some fine muscle cars.
This 1970 Ford Mustang SuperBoss 429 has 780 HP and is known as the ‘Lawman.’
Just one of the cars in his amazing collection.
Bill also owns a 1965 Shelby Cobra with a NASCAR motor, built by Birdie Elliot, brother of NASCAR driver Bill Elliot and a fine 1959 Chevy Biscayne as you can see in the video below.
John Cena’s 1966 Dodge Hemi Charger
John has a fine collection of vintage muscle cars which include a 1970s Buick GSX, 71 Plymouth Roadrunner, 1970 Plymouth Superbird, 66 Dodge Hemi-Charger, 71 Ford Torino GT, 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator and a 69 Dodge Daytona, with one of the standouts being this 1966 Dodge Hemi Charger.
A true raw muscle machine, just like its owner.
The Rock’s Chevrolet Chevelle
No stranger to muscle cars, having starred in the Fast and Furious franchise.
The car was driven in the movie Faster.
As with most movie cars, this one is a mishmash of a 71 chassis with 1971 and 1972 body panels, as they have to smash up so many cars during filming, it would be sacrilege to destroy a real one.
Ric Flair’s 2010 Chevrolet Camaro
A wild lifestyle should also equal owning a wild car and in Rick’s case, it’s a Chevy Camaro with matching white wheels.
The car has a Magnuson TVS 2300 Supercharger Kit, upgraded cam shaft, Detroit Speed Suspension and 578hp.
Unfortunately, the car went on sale in March of this year as you can see here on eBay.
Eddie Guerrero’s Buick Low Rider
Many Roesler have entered the ring in a flash car, but Eddie’s low rider always stole the show.
Andre the Giant’s 421 Pontiac Catalina
A 7ft. 4in. man weighing 500 pounds as in the case of Andre the Giant, you need an equally big car.
There are not that many images of the big man with what he drove, but one of the examples is this 421 Pontiac Catalina.
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Steve has owned many vehicles over the years, from retro to new muscle cars. This video is just a short clip of some of his vehicles over the years.
Apparently, the first car he bought was a 1971 Pontiac Firebird formula, but also went on to a love of American trucks.
