Latest Dodge Demon Video Shows Race Hardened Parts

The latest teaser vehicle from Dodge about their upcoming Demon shows an emphasis on heavy duty rates hardened parts to handle is expected high power.

The SRT Demon is expected to be optimised for the drag strip which means it needs to have the hardware to handle multiple passes and deal with the punishment thrown at it from typical dragstrip wear. the video highlights the improved prop shaft with 15% more torque due to its high strength steel. A differential housing, with 30% more torque through heat-treated aluminum. There is also a pair of 41-spline half shafts with high-strength steel , which can also take 20% more hammering.

The video also shows custom Demon logo’ed harness bars. So now we know that the vehicle as a huge air intake and optimised pad and parts, we just now need to know what the engine and transmission will eventually be. Not long to wait now……
