Inferno Destroys Aussy Muscle Car Factory
’15 years of hard work and $4 million in cars and equipment gone in just two hours.’
Muscle car factory owner Leo Banks discovered the blaze at 2am and tried to tackle the blaze himself, but had to call in the fire department which took over a hundred fireman to control the spreading fire.
The fire consumed classic muscle cars, completed cars ready for their owners and partially restored cars.
The saddest and most unfortunate part of the story is that the owner didn’t have insurance for the factory as no insurance company would cover him. Some of the car owners had insurance, but many did not.
‘Will work through it slowly and rise from the ashes like a Phoenix, is the attitude at the moment.’ said Leo Banks.
This is very sad to see, so we hope Leo gets back on his feet as soon as possible.
