Forgotten Wrecking Yard Now Selling All Cars
By David Ashton
The Putnam Estate, a forgotten wrecking yard in Iowa is now liquidating all its stock, which includes tons of old vehicles and parts spread across a huge area. The big sale being called, ‘Putnam’s Last Stand.’
Grandinetti’s Metal Recycling in Iowa have been tasked with the job of clearing out all these treasures, with more than 1000 vehicles accumulated over the last 20 years.
The cars range from the 1930s up to the 1970s, some intact, but many as donor cars with absolutely loads of parts to be picked from.
Grandinetti are currently putting up the stock on their Facebook page, the bulk of the cars and parts needing to be shifted from November 5th to the 20th.
We are guessing that anything left after these dates may go to the crusher, so it’s worth checking out if they have anything special left before it gets turned into tin cans.
If you’re interested in any of the stuff they have, check out their Facebook page and contact them as quickly as possible. You never know what you may find…..
