Ford Unveils The 2018 Mustang

The 2018 Ford Mustang has now been revealed with design upgrades and improved performance.

Recently released with help from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, ambassador of Service, the initial leaked images of the new Mustang didn’t get the warmest of receptions with the upgraded design, but now everybody has a chance to comment on the new, wider front grille, headlights, front bumper and C shaped rear lights, now surrounded in black which are said to give a more refined look to the vehicle.

The 3.7-liter V6 Engine version of the 2018 Mustang has been ditched with the 2.3 L eco-boost four cylinder and 5.0-liter V8 engine being the only options. Both engines have had an overhaul with more power and higher revs, which include Fords new dual fuel, high-pressure direct injection and low pressure port fuel injection technology. Dual tip exhausts are featured on the EcoBoost Mustang with the GT model getting a quad tip exhaust.

The manual transmissions have also been reworked with twin disc clutch and dual mass flywheel, delivering more torque along with a new 10 speed automatic variation which features a wide ratio span and optimized gear spacing which should improve acceleration and performance. Other upgrades include new shocks with a new cross-axis joint for the rear suspension for added stiffness and stabilizer bars to increase responsiveness through the corners.

The interior gets an upgrade in the form of a handstitched cockpit and more premium aluminum rings and bezels throughout. A new 12 inch digital LCD screen is featured on the dash, which controls most operations and different driving modes, allowing also saved driving mode settings.

All this is coming this fall for all Mustang lovers.
