The Ford GT Is On Pole position For Le Mans

The new Ford GT has upset some folks at this years 24 Hours of Le Mans starting on pole position.

The twin turbo V6 car is heading the race almost 50 years after the original Ford GT40’s win at the 1966 Le Mans, three tenths faster than Ferrari and the nearest Porsche.
A few days of rain meant the Ford stayed in pole position and we yet to see how the whole race plays out.
Le Mans is about playing the long game, not a sprint, so be interesting to see how the new Ford GT plays out against the rest of the competition.
