Fisher Price Release A Smart Drive Mini Mustang
By Peter Simms
Go on, admit it, if we had the chance to buy one of these when we were kids, we would have jumped at the chance.
Now there is a way to bring the next generation up on muscle cars with the release of Fisher-Price’s new mini Mustangs.
With the holiday season approaching, this joint venture by Ford and Fisher-Price brings a convertible Power Wheels Mustang to every kid’s doorstep, which is powered by an electric motor and features driver assistance technology, which includes a speed limiter, stability control and even a traction control.
The traction control motor speed can be adjusted and the stability control can automatically switch off the electric engine if it detects unnatural angles which may topple the vehicle.
It even has built-in V8 engine sound effects or you can connect via an auxiliary cable external music to play through the car speakers.
The car has a top speed of 5 mph and should be available in most stores throughout December for around $359.99.
If you cannot afford the real thing, you can at least say you have a convertible Mustang on your driveway.
