A Fine 1974 Plymouth Barracuda
By David Ashton
This 1974 Plymouth Cuda seems to have had a complete makeover, with a rotisserie restoration job and over 30k spent in part and labour.
The engine is stated to be a ‘1966 – 383 10.5 to 1 compression, 400t hp bored 30 over keith black pistons loapy but streetable cam. Built by RedLine Machine.’ The transmission is a new TCI 727 with a valvebody 3000 stall converter.
The car also seems to have been treated to 2009 Challenger red DuPont paint, which the ad says runs to $850 per gallon.
The car has also new upholstery in the interior, new brakes and fuel system, new suspension and new cooling system.
The car has had new quarter panels, floor pans, trunk pans tail panel and valances.
In total, it seems alot has been invested into this ride and although it is 74 model, it seems the asking price of just short of $30,000 is not too unreasonable.
You could do a lot worse with your money.
