Find Of The Day: Paisley Print Roof 1970 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe

If nothing else, this Plymouth Fury stands as a mighty fine sleeper with some nice engine upgrades, unique paint and rather fetching Paisley print roof and Paisley seats.

The ad. says that the car was sold as dark brown, with a repaint in 2005 and the paisley printed roof denotes more of a comfortable cruiser than a muscle machine. It comes with a 383 V8 engine with dual AFB carbs, a 727 transmission with 2200 stall convertor, 8 3/4 rear end and front disc brakes. This also has a purple stripe camshaft kit and a few other replacement items such as the exhaust manifold and louvered hood. The engine bay is in fair condition, the horsepower rating being upped from the 290 factory output to 343hp.

The exterior looks straight and all in good condition with no signs of any paint chipping or similar.

There are some downsides here as stated in the ad., like a tear in the seat and a couple of cracks in the dash, the overall for an asking price of $10,700.13 days to go, this is a straightforward but unusual 1970 Plymouth that could make you a nice little cruiser and ongoing project.
