Find Of The Day: 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc Z28
By David Ashton
This 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc Z28 would make a great buy and drive car for not much money.
It features an upgraded powertrain and seemingly loads of new parts to get you going.
On initial impressions, this Iroc looks rock solid, with a splendid looking exterior. It looks like it may have some small scuffs under the front skirt, but these look minor. The rest of the bodywork looks in great shape, with the paintwork having a nice shine to it.
The interior looks just as good, looking well maintained and no signs of any major wear on the seats, steering wheel or dash.
The ad. says that a new powertrain ( late model Chevrolet Vortec engine) has been fitted with a load of new parts and having done only 8000 miles.
If you check out the original ad. description below you’ll see that there’s been quite a few upgrades included with the engine, which should in theory keep you going for quite a while.
In total, your possibly getting quite a lot of car for your money here and one in great shape.
If you don’t want to break the bank and still get a reasonable car for your money, this maybe once a shortlist.
‘Interior perfect, chassis and floors are solid, no rust. This car started life as a 1989 RS Camaro. It has 1992 Iroc trim and interior, and looks great. Barry Grant steering wheel. Mileage is hard to say beacuse new motor and transmission installed a short while ago! There is not a lot of mileage on new set up.
Big 4 row aluminum radiator. Edelbrock Victor Jr, water pump. Car runs cool , even on the hottest of days!
Pictures do not show the completley new Flowmaster exhaust that I just put in and spent $3000 about two months ago.
Brand new Ceramic coated headers with brand new Flowmaster Thunder Cat Complete Exhaust. Car sounds great, and pulls like no tomorrow! Tinted tail lights and clear parking lights. Also have an extra pair of brand new 275/50/17 rear tires that go with it. ‘
