Dodge Partners With Mecum, Firstly Giving Thrill Rides
By David Ashton
Dodge have announced a recent partnership with Mecum Auctions, which will first be evident in its marketing materials and upcoming thrill rides.
The first of these will be seen at Mecum, Louisville on September 8-10th, where Dodge Challengers, Charger Hellcats and Dodge Vipers will be offered as thrill rides, just like the thrill rides at Roadkill Nights.
The idea is to give the Dodge brand more exposure via Mecum Auctions’ TV, print and web offerings.
“Whether it’s the Dodge Charger and Challenger cars of the ’60s and ’70s popular at today’s auctions, or the special-edition modern Mopar muscle cars available from Dodge and SRT today that are sure to be sought-after collectibles of the future, Dodge and Mecum take great pride in joining together to keep the muscle car legacy alive,” Kuniskis stated in the recent release.
The Louisville auction hopes to offer some standout vehicles in the form of a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1955 Ford F100, a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette and a 1971 Dodge Charger R/T.
