Check Out This Modified 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS
By Dave Ashton
The third generation Camaro isn’t the most sought-after, but like any muscle car with a bit of tweaking and fettling, it can be given a makeover to rival any vehicle out there. The F-body in stock form won’t be winning any performance prizes, but as per this example you can turn this on ball into an incredible street machine.
Bought out of a lady’s back yard for $500 the 3.1L V6 needed a lot of work to fix its inherent faults such as widening the track with by 6 inches, custom-built coil overs and amazingly, most of the suspension parts built by the owner Nicholas Morrow. This is all topped off with a home built roll cage, going down to 295/30R18 Toyo R888 tires. There is also a rear diffuser handmade from carbon fibre.
There are plans to replace the 3.1L V6 engine with an LS motor some point in the future, but for now the chassis and body are the main focus. Top credits go to Mr. Morrow for fixing all the problems and turning this 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS into quite the sleeper car.
Check out the video to see Matt Farah take this inspiration for a run.
