This is a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona with extremely low mileage, 440ci. V8 engine and apparently 1 of 503 vehicles. The car is in fantastic condition and comes with all the documentation you can think of, such as the build sheet, window sticker and checked over by Galen Grovier himself.
Everything here seems to be lining up to a top-of-the-line Daytona. However, the first and most overriding consideration it’s a hefty buy it now price of $375,000. If you check out Hagertie’s valuation tool, a #1 concours vehicle is worth around $266,000 with a fair condition example worth around $122,000 at the time of writing. So this one has to have something very special about it to justify such a high price.
If you check out the ad. itself there’s not many details apart from what’s listed above. The images provided show a well maintained and restored vehicle, but at this asking price the details matter and if you look at images such as the engine bay there are signs of deterioration here and there, not exactly #1 concours condition.
Being a winged Warrior this is an obvious rarity and Dodge Daytonas go for much more money than their equivalent, Plymouth Superbirds, but the asking price for this one seems just a bit on the high side.
