This 1968 Plymouth Road Runner looks in great condition and looks every bit the sleeper car still in its gray sealer primer condition. If you check out the images of the engine bay, you’ll see that the car was originally red. Said to be a ‘true RM21 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 4 barrel 4 speed turbine bronze 2 door Post with Decor package.’
The car sounds like it’s gone through some sort of restoration and drives quite adequately. The motor is said to be a rebuilt 383 CU. with a bunch of upgrades which include, ‘new syncro’s and bearings, 11″ factory Bell with new flywheel, center force clutch.’
It seems the owner of this car has had the car for over 10 years and has done plenty of rebuild work over the years. There’s plenty of detail here and what’s being done, sounding very much like the owner just wants to pass this on for somebody to complete the project.
There’s no mention of much documentation, apart from a clear title, so if you are interested in this car like always, it’s a good idea to visit it in person, currently located in Manahawkin, New Jersey, United States.
Overall, this could be a great project at a reasonable price.
