The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon MAY Have 900 HP

Much is being discussed at the moment of how much horsepower the upcoming Dodge Demon is actually going to end up with under the hood. It’s expected to be more than the current Challenger and Charger, but by how much? A recent posting on Instagram may suggest 900HP, but there seems to be caveats to this reasoning.

The image was posted by Ryan Nagode, a Fiat/Chrysler designer which shows a dyno graph showing a 900Hp peak, which is obviously an immense amount of horsepower, but the posting also goes on to say, ‘rendering purposes only,’…..hmm. Is this just for demonstration purposes, is it out of the real Demon or just for show? Nothing has been confirmed at the moment, but it does tease the direction of 900hp realms.

One comment said that the centre console is from a Durango dash, but with the Durango SRT already out, then an unholy 900HP for the upcoming Demon may be on the cards or at least implied. One things for sure, we won’t have long to wait before we find out the final figures with a hopeful April unveiling, we just hope the new Demon can at lease reach supercar power at muscle car pricing.
