The Mythical No. 547 1987 Buick GNX

The 1980s may not be known for a wealth of prized muscle cars, as was the case in the late 60s and early 70s, but there were standouts such as the Buick Grand National and the limited edition Buick GNX.

With only limited run of 500 GNX vehicles, finding one with the moniker of 547 would make any GNX owner dribble with excitement.

Over at hotrod.com they feature the full story of this car being found and now being brought to light.
The car apparently is the last GNX to roll off the production line and with the 547 number, is surely the top of the heap when it comes to a GNX rarity.

The car is currently in an undisclosed donors hands who ID’d the car from the No. 547 above the glovebox door.

The car, which was dubbed the Darth Vader of muscle cars, is in mint condition and shows the best of 1980s muscle cars.
Deemed to be almost a myth for many years, the car may be in private hands, but as you can see it is alive and well and still in its original condition.
