For a restoration project like this one, you could almost make your own TV show lasting the complete process, but for those who want a cut to the chase version, this incredible timelapse video is just the thing.

It features the transformation of a 2012 Shelby GT500 into a 1967 a Shelby GT500 over a four-year period.
No original body part from the 2012 vehicle was used, with the new car having complete new sheet metal. To get an exact replica, some parts were handmade and some 3-D printed such as the handmade fender flares and rear spoiler and the 3-D printed front grill, front turn signals and reverse lights.

Incredibly, this transformation was done at weekends over a four-year period, so in any case its hats off to the builder for this incredible process.
