Production of the 2016 Dodge Challenger, Charger and Chrysler 300
It’s almost like we have gone from one extreme to another. In our other article today we posted about the old car production lines.
Now we are giving you a close-up look at how the modern day muscle car is produced.
This video was shot at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Brampton Assembly Plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, which produces the 2016 Dodge Charger, Challenger SRT Hemi Hellcat and Chrysler 300.
Robots and automation now rule the production line, but it still needs humans for final quality checks and to manage the line, just not to the extent of manpower than it once was.
It’s also good that there is no soundtrack or commentary to this video. It gives you more of a sense of the clinical precision that goes into the making of the modern automobile.
Fascinating stuff.
