2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: Star Of The 2016 New York Auto Show

With so many new vehicles on offer at this year’s New York Auto Show, the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 showed how modern muscle cars are now at the forefront of the performance market.

The new ZL1 is the first GM car to offer a 10 speed automatic transmission, developed alongside Ford or a six speed manual. The car also has the most power of any Camaro, using the latest in aerodynamics and lightweight body enhancements.

The heartbeat of the ZL1 is a 6.2L V8 LT4 engine, with 640HP and 600ft/lbs of torque, weighing 200 pounds less than the previous model.
The car is expected to go on sale later this year for around $60,000, giving you supercar performance at muscle car prices.
