Electric Zombie 222 Mustang Takes Tesla P85D In Drag Race

We have featured the bloodshed motors Electric Mustang in a previous post highlighting the cars fantastic acceleration.
This time the bloodshed Mustang is up against a Tesla P85D.
The Zombie 222 ran 10.2 seconds vs the 691HP Tesla which finished in 11.4 seconds.

To get your hands on this type of power you will obviously have to part with a few dollars.
The Tesla’s price point is around $106,000, while the electric zombie starts with their 111 model at $50,000 needing a donor card, with their top model zombie to to to starting at hundred and $25,000 plus donor vehicle.
The main advantage of an electric motor driven car is that the power is instantaneous. It’s the nature of any electric motor. No turbo lag, no supercharger mishaps, which is why they compete so well on the drag strip.

Electric may be the future and these cars are proving they are more than worthy, but I think at this point in time, a well tuned muscle car with a quality V8 still gives the best overall value for money.
But like any technology, over time it gets cheaper and more accessible, so we are probably seeing what will be commonplace in the future
