The Carbon Fiber 1965 Ford Mustang 959 HP Monster

Mike and Jim Ring of Ringbrothers are renowned for their unique muscle car builds, from small stock improvements to full-blown restomods.

One of their latest creations is the carbon fibre 1965 Mustang ‘Espionage,’ first shown at the 2015 Sema show in Las Vegas.
This was a tricky mix to combine the latest technology into classic looks, which resulted in a 4 inch wider body, with the resilience of carbon fibre.
Instead of leaving the basic carbon fibre look the car is painted Spy Green.

The powertrain comes from Wegner Motorsports which is a 427cu, LS7(sharp intake of breath from both Ford and Chevy fans, but the companies have been collaborating for some time http://fastmusclecar.com/news/ford-parts-2017-zl1-camaro/) attached to a Whipple supercharger which puts out 959 HP and 858ft.lbs of torque.
This goes through a six speed Tremec T56 transmission, a QA1 carbon driveshaft to a Ford 9 inch rear end.
This all sits on the Detroit Speed chassis, who also supplied the suspension.

A classic interior features Riccaro bucket seats, Race Pak IQ3 instruments, billet aluminum pedals and classic wood rimmed steering wheel.
