Twin Muscle Cars: The Ultimate Car Duo?
By Mark Weisseg
I saw this picture of two Hurst Mustangs and it reminded me of how many I know that do the twin car thing.
I have a friend that has a 1970 Challenger convertible and has said since the Challenger had been re-introduced, he would buy a new one that is a convertible to match.
For the lucky guys and gals that have a Mustang or Camaro, or other such car that they can a ‘twin’ is a cool situation to be in. Especially if you can re create the colors and make the new one look almost like the older one.
As you drive both you will fully understand the changes in technology and mindset. It’s 30 plus years between changes and the changes will be very noticeable.
I hope more of these twins are available as we move forward. The other guy I know that own twin Mustangs loves them both but he likes driving the older one more.
Whatever your preferences, if you’re in the position of buying a second car, think about buying a twin, the older or younger version of your current car. It will just be another car in your collection, but another addition to the family.
Thus, consider a twin for your next car purchase. You won’t regret it.
