2018 Ford Mustang GT With Active Exhaust Spied On The Street
By Dave Ashton
Thanks to Ford, the upcoming 2018 Mustang GT will have a fantastic exhaust note, which will separate the car from the rest of the crowd. Now we have a brief glimpse of what this exhaust system will sound like from this brief smart phone footage captured by subaruwrxfan.
The video shows a 2018 Mustang GT Cabriolet moving from the lights where we are treated to a few seconds of exhaust note and quick changes from the 10 speed automatic transmission.
The upgrades to the Mustang GT feature an output boost, increased compression ratio, with dual fuel injection, mixing direct and port hardware.
There has also been comments on the video that the car is just an upgrade. Feedback from the subaruwrxfan guys say that the car has been spotted a few times near Dearborn and there is a slight angle to the taillights.
The Mustang isn’t planned for release until October 2nd 2017, with orders starting from July 17. At least at this point is we know that the active exhaust along with the future upgrades is hotly anticipated, so stay tuned for a future review.
What do you guys think of the video?
