2016 Dodge Challenger SXT Review And Road Test

While most of the focus on the current Dodge line up is on the Hellcat, is still good to see positive reviews for the rest of the range, in this case, the Challenger SXT.

This review from carsguide.com.au gives an overall positive look at the SXT from the Aussie point of view, another country obsessed with its muscle cars.
The interesting thing here is the comparisons are to see muscle cars such as the XY Falcon, giving those unfamiliar with Australian cars a glimpse into their scene.

Comparisons aside, this version has the ‘3.6- litre Pentastar V6 with 227kW and 363Nm’ engine and an eight speed automatic transmission. Obviously V8 would be much better, but it also acts as a fair comparison against the rest of the range.

The takeaway here is that the car was love at first sight and although they may have slightly reduced visibility and a ‘plasticky’ feel to the interior, these are only small points, considering the whole fun you can have with this modern day muscle car.
