2016 COPO Camaro: Testing And Validation

Here we have the drag strip testing of the new 2016 COPO Camaro.

The car features a 427 cubic-inch LSX, 3 speed automatic transmission and solid rear axle (as you need nothing else on the strip) and a full chrome-moly roll cage.

The car has been designed to NHRA racing specifications, so don’t expect any daily driver luxuries. It’s all about light weight and speed.

The original COPO (Central Office Production Order )Camaros were produced in 1969, specially ordered by dealers to make their own high-performance models. These vehicles and now some of the rarest Camaros in the world.
The new era of COPO Camaro was unveiled at the 2011 SEMA show, to produce a limited, special edition production run of these highly valued vehicles.
