2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible: The New 2016 Indy 500 Festival Car

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible will be the official festival car the 2016 Indianapolis 500.

GM have been providing vehicles for the Indy 500 Festival as the festival cars, these days as more of a tradition than local advertising. The cars also serves to get the drivers through the festival parade. this year will coincide with the hundredth running of the Indy 500, 60th IPL 500 Festival Parade and the 40th mini marathon

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible features an LT1 engine with 455 bhp and 455lbs. ft. Of torque, through an eight speed automatic transmission.
Each of the 50 cars are painted hyper blue with abalone white stripes and the black convertible top, along with the Indy 500 graphics.
