2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. 2016 Dodge Viper ACR

Here we have a head-to-head review of a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. a 2016 Dodge Viper ACR.
Both on the surface, have the same objectives, but when testing, completely different outcomes.
Both were tested on the track and regular roads, but both cars are arguably quite different.

The Viper ACR, which is built on an already raw handling vehicle, is built as a more track ready car. The Corvette Z06 wants to be a track car and a regular driver, which is hard to achieve at its optimum.

The conclusion is the ZO6 is not finished, with the Viper ACR winning the battle, giving you the closest car that can compete with a million-dollar vehicle from its competitors.

The Viper being a more track ready vehicle, will feel like this, harder or more brutal. The Corvette Z06 may start to dance at its upper limit, but as it wants to also be a road car, you can’t always have both.

But it still doesn’t feel like there is a complete conclusion in the video. Both are mighty cars that can give you as much fun as something that costs far more and this should be the main takeaway.
