A Dodge Charger RT in prime condition is always a sight to behold, but when its all original and has a 426 Hemi under the hood, is that bit more special. This example is going for a high price, but this reflects its rarity and unique attributes.
The car is said to be all numbers matching and has a full Galen Govier seal of approval. The numbers matching includes many of the engine components such as the original carburettor, distributor and manifolds. There have been some NOS parts used on the front suspension, but it seems much of the stuff they are is completely original. The engine itself is said to have been Dyno’d at 617 HP and has been driven 1000 miles since a mechanical restoration.
The car still wears its original paint and V8X Black Bumble Bee stripes and as you would expect for the asking price is in remarkable condition. As you can see this particular 1970 Dodge Charger RT is a definite investment piece and will only go up in value as the years go by, along with being able to own one of the icons of the muscle car era. Currently located in Vancouver, BC, Canada, this Dodge Charger is definitely going to make its next owner extremely happy.
