I love old car TV commercials. Not just for the nostalgia trip, but in one short minute, it also shows us the social attitudes of the times and how we presented ourselves back then.

The commercial also sums up muscle cars in general. The idea of a car that’s accessible to the masses, but has racing features.

It’s also a shame we don’t see cigar toting sheriffs anymore. They always seem to be extremely bad tempered. Maybe the sheriff was angry as he didn’t own one himself….
