By Dave Ashton

It’s a shame the days have gone where you could find a derelict muscle car and buy the thing for next to nothing. It’s so easy now to find the general value/worth of any vehicle online, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a project vehicle which will potentially go up in value.
This 1970 Charger R/T is numbers matching and has been in storage since 1979. According to the ad, the car will be featured in an upcoming show on the Discovery Channel, the ad. just doesn’t say which one. With these attributes you’re not going to get a complete bargain here, as shown by the hefty asking price of $30,000, but it does have tons of potential for a complete restoration.
Numbers matching 440, rough, but with a reasonable shape exterior and interior, J81 “Go Wing” spoiler, original Y3 Dodge Light Gold paint and 92K original miles. It comes with the original build sheet and fender tag all adding up to a car begging to be brought back to its original condition.
This 70s Charger ticks all the boxes, it’s just if you think it’s worth the asking price of $30,000.
