This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is being listed as a storage find. So, whoever has looked after this over the years has done a very good job. The car is in fantastic condition and has had a thorough service with replacement parts and originality where it counts. The originality a rarity are reflected in the asking price of $95,000.00.

The ad. says many of the parts have been replaced such as the ‘battery, New Fuel tank, Sending unit, Gas cap, Straps and pads’ and the carburettor and engine have been serviced recently. The all-black exterior and interior gives it that menacing muscle car look and the paintwork has only been refreshed once over its lifespan. The original interior which include original carpets and build date sticker add to the authenticity. Having a bench seat and column shifter also add to the very vintage look and feel.

The highlight of this 69 model is the 396 L78 which originally had 11.5:1 compression ratio and 425 HP or at least 375HP on paper. The 780 cfm Holley four-barrel carb. is said to have be serviced and along with original parts add up to one of the best racers of its time. It’s a shame there is only one image of the engine, but it’s probably implied by the rest of the condition of the car that this area is top-notch. The bodywork is solid and rust free, but this is sort of expected with the asking price.

The asking price of $95,000 is no snip, but if you factor in how much these vehicles are flying up in price, this is definitely a great investment.
