1962 Chevrolet Corvette 468

This car was the 2002 calender car for GM, has graced the cover of countless magazines and has several articles detailing the cars history.
Finished in Roman Red PPG paint.
Engine: Blown ’70 tall 468 big block built by Rex Hutchinson bored .060 over with Venolia 8.5:1 pistons and a Crower cam. A Weiland intake and blower and Holley carbs deliver the fuel.
Transmission: 2-speed power-glide with TPI 2,800 RPM converter.

The front suspension with tubular A-arms and 2 inch dropped spindles and Koni shocks with GM 11 inch brakes was fabricated by Fat Man Enterprises.
The rear suspension was built by Jim Gomes and is a Koni four link coil over 9″ Ford with Summer Bros. ales and 4.11:1 Detroit locker.
The car sits on a Camaro subframe and rear normal halfback, set up by Westbury Hotrods. The interior finished in Austrian Cream Leather and camel hair carpet.
