Car Talk: Wanting A Plain Muscle Car

I admit to having more faults than you could list on this page but at least I am working in them. This car in the picture must be fault number seven thousand as I have said before I want one. I want one just like this. Get in, turn the key and listen to the big 440 Commando roar to life. Then, I slip that gear selector into drive and off we go.

I don’t care if it needs a wash or the paint is a bit tired at all. I want that bad as daily driver car. This is it in the picture. No, I don’t need one that is one of 42 or has a hemi or anything else that will make me worry. Just a good, hard running daily driver that is fun and yet will get noticed.

You can bet I will get one in the future because it bothers me a great deal that I do not have one now. The thought of a daily driver being a Honda or a Kia makes me want to barf up everything I have ever eaten as the cars today are so bland. Yes they have a zillion creature comforts but they all look and sound the same. I want to roll around in somethings people will look at and admire. Not admire in the sense I am a rich fat cat but, admire that I am crazy enough to drive one around every day. Anyone else crazy like me?
