1971 Dodge Charger R/T 426 Hemi Pilot Car: Wow!

I have just proven scientifically that it is possible to involuntarily salivate on viewing a muscle car.

This 71 Dodge Charger featured in this video is simply beautiful and induces the same mouthwatering action as the best Portobello steak.(sorry vegetarians!)
A Dana 60 rear end, R/T package, Hemi engine, then all the options and to top it all, it is the pilot car for the year (the first off the production line, featuring details not available on later models.)

‘This is the very first 1971 Dodge Charger Hemi, which is also the first year for the new body style, and the last year for the 426 Hemi engine! Being the pilot car, this one was not supposed to be sold to the public, as there are certain elements of the car that are not production ready. However, it made it our of the factory alive, and was even sold new a Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago. It’s a very cool story, and an even cooler car.’
