Turbo Mustang LS Breaks World Record

Jon Capizzi is the man behind this incredible creation of a car, who has not only set this record on one occasion, but has also broken it again. The record set makes this the world’s fastest stock bottom end SBE 5.3 L33-powered Fox body Mustang as of now.

The record pass was done at Beach Bend raceway, LS Fest Bowling Green, KY with a time of 7.72 seconds @ 174mph in the quarter-mile. the car used an L33 with 36 pounds of boost, 799 casting heads, a single turbo, all controlled by a Holley Dominator system.

This proves that with the right setup and vision, anything is possible and this Mustang’s plans to go even faster in the future.
