Shelby GT350 vs Hellcat Challenger: An Even Match?

Here we have a half mile drag race which on the surface seems like a straightforward muscle car showdown.
But, like any drag race, once you start to look into the finer details, it may not be so evenly matched.

On one hand the Dodge Challenger Hellcat has 707 horses and 650Lbs. ft of torque, weighing in at 4,449lbs, the current fastest stock American muscle car.
On the other is the Ford Shelby GT 350 Mustang with 526 horses and 429lbs. ft of torque, weighing 3,760lbs. Both cars with manual transmission.

Like our last video, stats really go out of the window when the final variable of the equation is put in place, the driver.
If the driver can’t put it down, it’s almost irrelevant what they have under their hands and feet.
