Do You Restore A Burnt Out Muscle Car?

I am unclear where this old classic is sitting and why. From the picture the car to the right looks like it was burned out. But, let’s stay on our orange potential.

This is where one must step back and ask if it is possible to restore. Sure if you have deep pockets and a desire to spend it all I guess. But when is it too far gone?
Certainly one could use the shell or sell off the parts but most of us want the original, the real deal. It’s just like the barn finds we see so often now. Everyone is in glee but once you really step back and add it up in your head……. See what I mean.

I am guilty of buying a vehicle in poor shape and the budget became a joke. It became a need to finish and the money poured out of me. I kept the faith and trudged on. However, the web sites are full of cars and people who got tired. The tear things apart only to find out they are way over there head. Time and money as well as space become a problem. Most people are not quitters but reality sets in at times and you must cut bait. It hurts and you never know the joy of completion. So my friends when you see something like this I caution you to really think hard about the challenges ahead.
