This 1972 Cuda is probably as rare as you can find, 1 of 11, fully restored and in perfect condition.
The small little caveat is the price you will have to pay these days for this prime cut of muscle car.
Once the price of a car starts to skyrocket, everybody jumps on the bandwagon to get a piece of the action, which drives the prices skyward. However, the market is the market and you have to pay the going rate. The plus side will be the car will hold its price and go up in value as the years go by. great if you own one, not so much if you don’t, but you really can’t get much better than this example of Cuda.

‘ Out of 55,499 Barracudas produced in 1970,only 18,880 were of the performance,’Cuda-designated variety, only 652 of which were hardtops equipped with the mighty 426 HEMI. Of course, only 284 came equipped with a four speed manual transmission. And finally, only 11 Four speed Hemi Cudas are known to exist combining Rallye Red paint with Red interior.

Two features that make this incredible car an even more exclusive find are it’s black vinyl roof and very desirable body-colored elastomeric bumpers, which by themselves lead into some interesting and obscure details: Plymouth made these bumpers available on all 1970 Barracudas, the front bumpers being offered in nine different colors and all cars equipped with colored bumpers also came with body-colored rear view mirrors. The only front/rear combination to be had came in Rallye Red, which was also the only color option that came with a matching Shaker Hood Scoop, as we see here.

Beyond the Factory Gear that accompanies the matching numbers Hemi engine and it’s numbers matching four-speed, the car is equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes and front driving lights. The compelling color interior is home to a rallye gauge cluster, and the all important Hurst pistol grip shifter.

The car has had a single repaint on solid original rust free sheet metal. ALL original panels and solid original floor and trunk. The undercarriage, engine and compartment have been painstakingly restored back to factory correctness with all factory details. Car comes with copy of original sales invoice from VIP Motors in Nebraska ,the Original Fender Tag and Full visual Inspection Report by Galen Govier.’
