Million Dollar 1971 Mustang Boss 302 Prototype

People come across barn finds from time to time, even rarer ones, but it’s not every day you find a rare prototype, especially of an iconic vehicle. This is the case for a prototype 1971 Mustang Boss 302 which was sold to the public after Ford cancelled their Trans Am racing program back in 1970.

The car in question has the VIN number FO2H100053, Body 63D, Color D, trim 5A with a 351-4V V8 engine. Bought from eBay as a lucky find, this is the story of how this one-off vehicle came to light and its story up to now.
