Michael Andretti’s Dodge Demon Auction

One special auction that is coming up soon is for a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon owned by Michael Andretti. The auction will be at Mecum, October 3-6th with a possible expected final bid of over $200,000.

This particular Dodge Demon’s numbered 47, with only 13 miles on the clock. The first 50 Demons built were for company executives and VIPs, which makes this one in the exclusive bracket. The car was also specifically dressed up for Andretti which comes with the Demon Crate and due to its low mileage has never been put through its paces and still has the plastic protectors on the seats. The car doesn’t seem to have anything above and beyond what you get with other fully optioned Demons, but a virtually brand-new 6.2-litre supercharged V8 and ZF eight-speed will still deliver like a brand-new car.

Dodge Demon’s are clearly going to be future rarities and with the help of the association of a top named driver, this one will definitely be worth more than most. Current Dodge Demon prices aren’t as massively inflated as they were predicted when first going on sale. Current Dodge Demon prices seem to be hovering around the $120k – $150k mark. Still quite a jump from its original $86,090, but nowhere near what was predicted.

This example is clearly going to go up in value over the years, so it will be interesting to see what the final bid will be.
