A 1 of 3 GTHO phase 4 Ford Falcon is coming up for auction with an expected sale price of $3 million, making it one of the rarest in Australian muscle car history.

This short video gives you an overview of the car fom the News 7 report and Lloyds auctions. The almost funny start to the video is where the news reporter asks, ‘how confident are you that someone is going to pay $3 million for a 1972 Falcon?’ It’s almost like asking how something that old can be worth that much?

It comes down to basic principles, anything with a limited build, anything with a celebrity affiliation or even anything with a chrome bumper is steadily going up in value. Its clearly in the price bracket of an investment vehicle, which means it’s already attracting attention from international buyers.

The main takeaway is that classic muscle cars on both sides of the pond are is revered and valuable as they should be.
