The first Steps: An Amazing Hotrod Car Restoration Project

I love this picture because it appears this guy is sitting in his yet to be completed car project. He is imagining what it will be like driving down the road someday or at the least, thats what it looks like.

It’s like the pro golfer who visualizes his next shot. There are so many twists and turns when building the project you must stop and visualize it. We all know what we think will happen and sometimes it doesn’t. We change course, or have a change of heart during the process. Some never get completed as the project becomes overwhelming. That happens my friends to nearly everyone.

You are over budget, out of energy and sick of the whole thing. It’s happened to yours truly too. How did I get in this mess and how do I keep going? This is the time to reflect and hopefully you have someone to urge you on. In my blog on Stovebolt.com you can read of our struggles in detail in the truck world. What started out as fun turned ugly and frustrating. But, we kept each other going and finally finished the project. Over budget, not on time, but we finished.

When you finish you will have such a great sense of pride I cannot give you the words you will feel. So, plan ahead and keep the faith. Or, become a failure and hope nobody remembers!
