Finland Muscle: 2nd Gen. Camaro As Drift Car BY Mikko Viitala.

We have mentioned before the fantastic northern European outpost of Finland and their contingent of muscle car fans, so it’s great to see Mikko Viitala and his 1978 Camaro, converted to a 1970 Camaro, used as a drifting car.

If you have never seen a great drifting video, this will show you the high level of skill involved to keep all the lines, angles and showmanship all in check.
The video also have some fantastic camera angles and in car footage of the drifting experience.


Car: Chevrolet Camaro RS “-70”
Engine: 376cid LS3, Paxton Novi2200 Supercharger, 825HP/1000nm at 15psi..
Steel crankshaft, Wiseco forged pistons, and Callies/Compstar 6.125-inch rods which equate to a compression ratio of 10.3:1.
Transmission: Tremec T56 coupled with a Clutchmaster 8.5-inch twin-disk clutch.
Power: 825hp/1000nm at 15psi.
Weight: 1250kg.
