This car is all original, numbers matching and probably as rare as it gets in the muscle car market.
The Dodge Charger Daytona was only built between 1969 and 1970 and just like the Plymouth Superbird, didn’t sell well on the street, making them an ultra rarity.
If this was a 426cu., like this example sold at Mecum you would be approaching a million-dollar pricetag. The 440cu. ones go for around the price offered here.
Pricewise, it’s worth the asking price, but when we put this ride out on our Facebook page to gauge reaction, people commented they hated the color. I thought this was a bit ‘picky’ at first, but at this price point, the color of a car can put people off.
However, as an investment piece, it’s worth every cent.
