Find Of The day: 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7

Mercury Cougars have always been in the shadow of their more famous cousins, such as the Mustang, but for those in the know, these beasts are a great buy.

This one comes in a recently repainted Tiffany Blue, with the engine being upgraded to a 351 Cleveland, ‘with an aftermarket performance Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and intake manifold.’
The engine also sports a Pertronix Flame-Thrower distributor and coil, dual side exhaust with Glasspack mufflers, new brake system, new tires a new weatherstripping.

The interior and engine bay also look in good condition, especially with the close-up images.

In total, you could do far worse for your money, but here you get a classic muscle car from 1967, which has just as much prestige as anything else out there for the year.
