Ford have recently re-released the 2016 edition of the Hertz Mustang. Here you can buy one the originals, but it will cost.
This example is number 6S1604 and was initially supplied to the Hertz rental agency in Portland. It was then sold to a service technician in 1967, who installed a four speed manual transmission for weekend racing.
The third owner added back the cruise-o-matic transmission and restored the car in the 1980s, along with a minor restoration.

It’s been kept in great condition ever since and has a Carroll Shelby signature on the glovebox door.
A fine example of an ultra-rare Hertz Mustang.
