Dodge: Hellcat fastest muscle car ever??

The 707 horsepower screamer earned a National Hot Rod Association-certified quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.2 seconds at 125 miles per hour with its stock Pirelli P275/40ZR20 P Zero tires. Fitted with drag radials, the Hellcat burned up the strip with a 10.8-second time at 126 mph.

The SRT Hellcat’s 6.2-liter Hemi engine is the company’s first supercharged Hemi and it puts out 650 lb.-ft. of torque along with the 707 hp. It is mated to a new 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual. The company says the new interior was inspired by the 1971 Challenger. The Challenger SRT Hellcat is due on sale in the third quarter.
