The Crazy Car Designs Of The 70s

I saw this today on the web and it reminded me of some of the bad fashions and styles of the 1970’s. Only the guy that posted this is actually looking for this car. Apparently he wants it back or desires to know where it is. If he wants it back and it’s still around I doubt someone would resell it. Hopefully if it is around the new owners painted it back to the correct colors.

But back in the late 1960’s and into the 1970’s fashion took a holiday. We all went crazy over pin stripping and wild color schemes. Could you imagine taking a ’70 Bird today and painting it like this? Someone would have you committed. But I guess someone somewhere may know what happened to this car. There all kinds of web sites dedicated to lost cars. Even though this car is butt ugly by today’s standards back in the day it was fashionable so don’t hunt the owner and punch him.

Hindsight is always easy for everyone and I would bet this poor guy is sore from kicking himself. Let’s soften the beating and hopefully help find this car. Maybe it’s long gone by now but it’s worth a try.

UPDATE: as of today there are no leads on the flower top car we focused on last week that was stolen. Seems hard to imagine a car like that can disappear without a trace. A $50,000 reward is offered by Hagerty so they are very serious about finding that car. Need 50k?
