C7 Chevrolet Corvette Electric For $750k

When it comes to performance electric vehicles, it’s Tesla who are leading the charge in this sector. There are other companies that are either in development or on the way for producing their own high-end electric vehicles, but they have made headway done by Tesla. One such company that is bringing up the rear is Genovation Cars with a modified C7 Chevrolet Corvette.

Instead of building a car from the ground up, they have taken a C7 Chevrolet Corvette, done away with the original engine and with loads of modifications built a high-performance electric vehicle. This type of build obviously doesn’t come cheap at $750k but it is capable of producing 800hp, 700lb-ft
flat torque curve and a top speed of 220mph.

The GXE – Genovation Extreme Electric, will be shown at next month’s Consumer Electronics Show and will give an interesting slant on the modern electric performance car with its two high-powered electric motors. It’s an interesting concept, but for this type of money would you buy one of these or by Tesla with change for a few vintage muscle cars??
