A 1984 Pontiac Trans Am special edition may not be that rare, especially with no engine, but this 15th anniversary edition is one of 500 vehicles with a manual transmission and with a low starting price, could be just well worth saving.
This one has no engine, but the ad. says the manifold, aluminium intake, distributor, carburettor, pulleys, brackets, bell housing, transmission, flywheel, A/C condenser, radiator and compressor lines are included. This model came with the WS6 handling package, 16×8 wheels and disc brakes.
The original L69 305 engine is not included, but at least you get the transmission. The interior will need a lot of restoration, but the main components are included.
This vehicle clearly needs a lot of brush of work to get it back in shape, including a new engine, but the resulting car could make a nice 80s rarity if you can back it at the right price. Would you go for this one?
